MOVEMENT CURRICULUM CONCEPTS
1) Spatial awareness-understanding general and personal space and how it relates to you and others.
2) Locomotor movements or travelling steps-Students learn how to move from one space to another. Steps are forward gallops, step ball change and high skips.
3) Discipline/Follows instructions –ability of student to follow through on instructions given during class and to adhere to the class rules.
5) knowledge of right and left sides.
